I started doing hair back in 1963 in Santa Barbara , California .  At the age of 25, I bought my first salon from my first employer and sold it 13 years later.  That was all a great experience.  I moved to northern California and worked in another salon for the next 14 years and then I moved further north to Portland and worked at Penneys for the next 18 years.

Then along came this wonderful opportunity to join forces with three other talented great women and open a salon together.  We're a great team, bringing different skills, abilities, and talents to the table.  I am enjoying this endeavor immensely.  Its great to share the responsibilities and joys.  I've seen a lot of change in the field over the years, and enjoyed all of it!
