I can't remember a time when I didn't want to do hair.  I started at home, when I was about five, doing styles on my dad while he napped in his recliner.  I started beauty school when I was a senior in high school and graduated in 2004.  My first salon was in Crystal , Minnesota where I learned a lot!  I moved to Oregon in 2006 and have only grown from there.  We opened Salon Mariposa in May of 2009.

I love the challenge of creating what my clients want while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair.  There is nothing better than using my creativity to create something that leaves a look of joy on my clients face.  I get to help people with that one accessory that they wear every day!  I have a wide range of clients from simple styles to more wild styles/colors.  I specialize in funky color, razor cutting techniques, and updos.  I also do waxing, facials, and makeup.

When I'm not at the salon I'm taking care of two little ones as I'm a part time nanny, hanging with my husband and my friends, or playing with our two dogs.
