I have been expanding my skills as a cosmetologist over 30+ years and truly enjoy it.  I have been fortunate enough to have practiced from coast to coast, so I have had the opportunity to learn from many different styles and many different eras. My love of learning and education fuels me in many aspects of my life including how I relate to my clients. I can take a little longer than the average stylist because of this, however I think that you will find that the wait is worth your while. 

 

Everyone is unique in their haircare needs which sometimes can be challenging but I look forward to getting to know you and helping to make it easier. I bring a very unique warm and caring approach to developing each individuals definition of their ideal image.  I like to factor in each person's characteristics as well as the demands on their time and haircare needs to develop a style tailored to each person. That is one of the favorite parts of my career. I specialize in fine hair, challenging directional growth patterns (cowlicks) and hair with a variety of curl. Hello everyone, my name is Jen, thank you for checking me out. l've been in the hair industry for 20+ years. I started my career in California, where I worked for many years and acquired a lot of highlighting clients. I worked in Arizona and now in Oregon. I'm originally from Portland and decided to move back home and closer to family. I continued my education starting with
Sassoon and Toni & Guy as well as Paul Mitchell and various other companies in the industry. I love coloring and cutting hair!... And yes, Perms too.

I began my career in a boutique salon in Newberg and have honed my barbering skills in Wilsonville. I enjoy working with men’s fine hair. I am well versed in razor techniques in short fades and clipper work. I love the versatility of this career, especially wedding updos or for any other special occasions and what I can achieve by transforming someone’s appearance by adding a subtle highlight or perfecting their color.

I also enjoy helping people by providing them a style that is easy to maintain at home or with a Brazilian Blowout Free Treatment that cuts down on styling time and frizz. I also do perms. The part of my career that I love the most is I get to make people feel beautiful for a living!!!
